The Forgotten Hero, Dusk the Lynx

Armed with the Black Tab, Dusk saved the world numerous times from total destruction 10000 years ago. The Black Tab downloads data from special artifacts, like Chaos Emeralds, and shows the information on the face in glowing text. This includes various spells, commands and prayers the artifacts respond to and their effects. It also negates the effects of time stop and while its capacity is limited, it can store some special energy from other artifacts for Dusk to wield.

In his many battles, he used the Black Tab and the Chaos Emeralds to seal away the deadliest of demons. However, he was never accepted as a hero. The people viewed his massive power and his acts as judge and executioner as evil, so his deeds were never recorded. The only thing left of him is the Black Tab, with the power dead, buried somewhere on Earth, waiting to be uncovered.
