Ruby Dragon is fought in a sequence of battles before Catastrophe in the Black Palace. Mao must defeat Sapphire Bear, the enhanced Garnet Bear, in order to fight Ruby Dragon.
Ruby Dragon is a seperate golem, carved from denser life crystals. He guards the throne room.
